The Protein Challenge 2040, the first global coalition to bring together the animal, plant and seafood industries to work towards a sustainable protein system, has identified three key areas for action in The Protein Challenge 2040 Summary Report:
1. Increase the proportion of plant-based protein we consume
2. Scale up sustainable feed innovation to meet demand for animal protein
3. Tackle the loss and waste of protein across the system
We’re currently working with leading NGOs including WWF and GAIN, retailers Target and Waitrose, leading dairy nutrition firm Volac, taste and flavour experts Firmenich, as well as food manufacturers The Hershey Company and Quorn.
