Red Lobster, one of America’s largest seafood brands, has partnered with the Seafood Watch program at California’s Monterey Bay Aquarium to promote sustainable fishing. Red Lobster plans to use the data and tools from Seafood Watch to improve its own sourcing choices, and educate diners about the impact of their seafood choices.

Our partnership with Seafood Watch is the natural next step in keeping our commitments and driving continuous improvement within our seafood supply chain.”
This sends a strong signal to the seafood sector that sustainable fishing is important, and that better choices are beneficial to business. Hopefully more industry leaders will follow suit, helping to catalyse a significant shift towards responsible fishing and ocean-friendly practices.
